I went to a physical interface computing workshop last night, and we hacked together an "wellness office companion" in about 1 hour, using a sacrificial Cookie plush, arduino, vibration motor, buttons, lights, etc - and thought I would share!
We prototyped an office companion that would indicate when you should take a break to improve your mental health. After you self-reported feeling bad 5 times in a row (pressing the red button), it would incessantly vibrate / make noise, giving you an incentive to go outside and take a 5-10 min. break for yourself (since this is hard for some of us!).
In a future prototype, we wanted to include a photocell that would indicate on the companion (which you would take outside) that you had been outside for a healthy amount of time.
